NOTE:
End gap of the circlip should not be aligned with the cutaway F
in the piston pin bore.
NOTE:
When installing the piston 4, the punched mark G on the piston
head is located to the exhaust side.
CRANKSHAFT
• Apply engine oil to the crankshaft bearing 1.
• Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” to the oil seal lip.
99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” or equivalent
• Install the oil seal 2 to the crankshaft.
• Install the crankshaft bearing retainer 3 to the upper crank-
case/cylinder.
• Apply engine oil to the cylinder.
• Apply a small quantity of engine oil to the piston ring.
• Install the piston and crankshaft to the upper crankcase/cylin-
der.
Use new piston pin circlips to prevent circlip failure
which will occur with a bend one.
