Verify that the rollback has reverted the
following components:
■ The appliance operating system
■ The appliance software
■ The NetBackup software
■ The network configuration
■ Any previously applied software updates
Items not included in the rollback:
■ The NetBackup catalog on the master
server appliance is not included.
■ The backup data is not included.

Use the following procedures as a guide to performing a rollback on an appliance:
Rollback to an appliance checkpoint from the appliance shell
menu
The following procedure describes how to roll back an appliance to a checkpoint
from the appliance shell menu.
To roll back to an existing checkpoint from the appliance shell menu

Log on to the appliance as an administrator and open the appliance shell menu.

Enter the following command:
Main_Menu > Support > Checkpoint Rollback
The following interactive process begins. The shell menu informs you of the
components that are reverted during this process. It also lists all of the existing
checkpoints.
