8 ISOLATED ANALOG PROGRAMMING OPTION
8.1 Introduction
Isolated Analog Programming is an internal Option Card for analog programming of the
Genesys™ power supply series. The option is factory installed and cannot be obtained with
a GPIB (IEEE-488) Interface. Output Voltage and Output Current can be programmed and
readback through optically isolated signals which are isolated from all other ground
references in the power supply.
There are two types of Isolated Analog programming cards:
1. 0-5V/0-10V option (PN: IS510): Using 0-5V or 0-10V signals for programming
and readback.
2. 4-20mA option (PN: IS420): Using current signals for programming and
readback.
