5.3.4.3.10.8 DHCP (LAN)
Display (e.g.):
If the existing network which the HDA eco is supposed to be connected to has a DHCP
server, this is where the 'on' setting should be selected. The integration of the HDA
eco in the network takes place automatically. As the case may be, the setting under
the 'Port' menu point (chapter 5.3.4.3.10.14) should be adjusted. Further settings are
not necessary.
If no DHCP is supported in the existing network, this is where the 'off' setting should
be selected. The following network settings are to be carried out manually
5.3.4.3.10.9 IP Address (LAN)
Display (e.g.):
In the event that
no
DHCP server is available (DHCP=Off), an IP address can be en-
tered here. Ensure that the address selected is not already in use. Use the "◄" and "►"
buttons to navigate within the input field, and the number keys to enter the address.
If DHCP has been activated, 000.000.000.000 appears here, and the field cannot be
edited.
5.3.4.3.10.10 Subnet Mask (LAN)
Display (e.g.):
If network settings are set manually (cf. chapter 5.3.4.3.10.8), this is where the sub-
net mask is entered for the network. Using the◄ and ‚► buttons navigation takes
place in the entry field. The address is entered using number buttons.
A typical sub net mask for smaller network is 255.255.255.000.
If DHCP has been activated, an address (e.g. 255.255.255.000) appears here, and
the field cannot be edited.
5.3.4.3.10.11 IP Gateway (LAN)
Display (e.g.):
If network settings are set manually (cf. chapter 5.3.4.3.10.8), this is where the IP ad-
dress of the network gateway is entered. Using the◄ and ‚► buttons navigation takes
place in the entry field. The address is entered using number buttons.
The standard gateway address of the existing network is shown on the start page
of the HD Manager 8 computer program
If DHCP has been activated, 000.000.000.000 appears here and the field cannot be
edited.
