2 Safety
Purpose of This
Chapter
This chapter points out the safety concept of the Te-Stack and contains general
rules of behavior and warnings from hazards pertaining to the use of the product.
Significance of
These Safety
Instructions
The safety of users and personnel can only be ensured if these safety instructions
and the safety-related warnings in the individual chapters are strictly observed
and followed.
Therefore, the Operating Manual must always be available to all persons
performing the tasks described herein.
2.1 User Qualifications
What Users
Must Know
The laboratory personnel must be qualified and trained to operate the Te-Stack.
In particular, operators must fulfill the following qualifications:
They must have a thorough knowledge of the application run on the system.
They must be familiar with the good laboratory practice guidelines.
They must have read and understood the instructions in this Operating
Manual.
Only personnel that meets the qualifications prescribed here is authorized to
perform the work described in this Operating Manual.

Note: Tecan recommends that the operator attends an operator training course.
