Starting the Run

6.4 Starting the Run
Note: The Te-Stack is always used together with other instruments. Refer to the
corresponding manuals for additional actions before clicking the start button.
1 Start the corresponding script or process (refer to the Application Software
Manual).
While starting, the system is initialized.
2 Continue with chapter 6.5 “Tasks During a Run”, 6-3.
6.5 Tasks During a Run
6.5.1 Replacing a Stacker Column
Removing ATTENTION
Never replace a stacker column during a run. Otherwise, operating of the
corresponding Te-Stack is stopped.
A stacker column can only be removed if the grippers are in the park position.
Refer to the chapter “Manual Movement”, 6-4.
Note: Tecan recommends you to specify user accesses in the script.
Proceed as follows:
1 If the system is running, click the Pause button.
2 Pull the stacker column forwards using the two handles (A in Fig. 6-
1 “Replacing a stacker column”, 6-4).
