4.2 Function
4.2.1 General
The stacker columns in the Te-Stack base units are filled with microplates, DiTi
boxes, or DiTi racks, hereafter referred to as “racks”. Optical sensors (A) in the Te-
Stack base units check if the stacker columns contain a minimum amount of these
racks or if the stacker column is empty.
4.2.2 Freedom EVO Version
If racks are required for use on the Freedom EVO worktable, the slide moves into
position below the Te-Stack base unit/stacker column, in which the needed racks
are stacked. A sensor “column in position” (A) determines the correct position.
