A mechanical feature (plate lock) in the stacker column and the Te-Stack base unit
now separates the bottom rack from the stack. The stack grippers, holding this
rack, descend.
The grippers spread (open) to carefully place the rack onto the slide of the transfer
station.
The rack is placed on the slide and the grippers ascend to their initial position.
The transfer carrier moves the rack to the Freedom EVO worktable where it is
picked up by the RoMa/MCA for further transfer. An optional barcode scanner
reads the rack’s barcode label (predefined rack information).
