The following table lists problems and errors and instructs how to eliminate them.

Problem / error Possible cause Corrective measures
Te-Stack (base unit)
Microplates dropped or
picked up incorrectly.
The Te-Stack position
is incorrect.
The microplates do
not meet the SPS
standard.
The plate type specifi-
cation is incorrect.
Teach the position.
Refer to the “Instrument Software Manual”
Always use microplates meeting the SPS
standard.
Correct the specification.
Stack for microplates
Microplate gets stuck Microplates are
loaded incorrectly.
The grippers got
stuck.
The solenoid is defec-
tive.
Adjust the microplates.
Check the gripper mechanism.
If the problem cannot be solved, contact the
Tecan FSE.
Contact the Tecan FSE.
Stack for DiTi boxes
DiTi box gets stuck. DiTi boxes are loaded
incorrectly.
The grippers got
stuck.
The solenoid is defec-
tive.
Adjust the DiTi boxes.
Check the gripper mechanism.
If the problem cannot be solved, contact the
Tecan FSE.
Contact the Tecan FSE.
