7.3 Maintenance Tasks
7.3.1 Safety Instructions
WARNING
Chemical, biological and radioactive hazards can be associated with the
substances used or the samples processed with the Te-Stack.
The same applies to waste disposal.
Always be aware of possible hazards associated with these substances.
Use appropriate protective clothing, safety goggles and gloves.
WARNING
Potential mechanical hazard
Mount and close all covers before switching on the instrument.
Keep out of the moving areas during the time the instrument is switched on.
Also pay attention to the safety instructions of the superior instrument.
7.3.2 Keeping the Logbook
Fill in the necessary or required data in the forms of the logbook, each time a
periodic maintenance task has been carried out.
7.3.3 Cleaning the Te-Stack
How to Clean To clean the instrument, proceed as follows:
1 Clean parts with isopropanol cleaning agent, with bleach or an antiseptic
solution (refer to chapter 7.1 “Tools and Consumables”, 7-1).
ATTENTION
Cleaning agents that contain strong acid could damage the surface of the
worktable.
Do not use such cleaning agents.
2 Remove any residues or foreign material from the chassis of the Te-Stack.
