6. Back off the screws (f) (one is on the
opposite side) using a medium Phillips
screwdriver.

7. Back off the two screws (g) which secure the
guard covering the lever, accessing them
from below.
8. Remove the guard (e).

9. Back off the ring nut (h), using a 17mm ring
nut spanner, if necessary holding the pin in
place with an 8mm hexagonal wrench.
10. Remove the pin in the direction indicated by
the arrow.
