j) Saving image
This function saves the displayed image to an external storage medium in
the Echo data format or JPEG data format.
Echo data format: Data saved to an external storage medium in
this format can be read and displayed by this
instrument again. Both still images and videos
can be saved in this format.
JPEG data format: Data saved to an external storage medium in
this format can be displayed and edited by a
personal computer as an image file (JPEG
format). Data of this format cannot be
displayed by this instrument. Only still images
can be saved in this format.
■ Data saved in a USB memory device may be
automatically erased after a long period of use.
Consider the USB memory as a temporary storage, and
make a backup for important data.
■ Connecting an external storage medium to this
instrument may delete files and folders that were not
created by this instrument.
■
Check that the external storage medium is connected
to this instrument.
■ Always enter the ID number when saving data in an
external storage medium.
■
Do not remove the external storage medium during
data saving. This may destroy not only the data being
saved, but also other data in the external storage
medium.
