Why is the spreader pattern uneven on my Toro Paint Sprayer?
    • T
      Taylor HinesSep 16, 2025
An uneven spreader or sprayer pattern may be due to several factors. The impeller might be dirty or damaged, so clean, repair, or replace it. The sprayer nozzles could be clogged, so clean or replace them. Check if the hopper screen is plugged and clean it. Also, material in the hopper may be clumped over the gate, so check to see if the agitator pin for the shaft of the impeller motor is present. Finally, the diffuser ramp setting may be incorrect, so adjust the position of the control cable.

How to fix a Toro Paint Sprayer that vibrates abnormally?
    • A
      Ashley WagnerSep 17, 2025
Abnormal vibrations in the machine can be caused by loose engine-mounting bolts; tighten them. Alternatively, the coupling bolts and nuts for the drive shaft may be loose; tighten the appropriate fasteners.

Why does my Toro 34215 pull to one side?
    • S
      Shane RomanSep 18, 2025
If the machine pulls to the left or right, the air pressure in the tires may not be correct, so adjust it. The steering linkage could be damaged, so replace it. The front wheel axles may be bent or damaged, so repair or replace them. The steering control might be bent or damaged, so repair or replace it.

What to do if my Toro Paint Sprayer's spray wand does not work?
    • B
      Brian FrenchSep 18, 2025
If the spray wand isn't working, start by checking if the sprayer tank is empty and fill it if needed. Ensure the sprayer-wand-pressure control is in the OPEN position. The wand itself may be clogged or damaged, requiring cleaning, repair, or replacement. Also, the spray nozzle for the wand could be clogged, so clean or replace the nozzle. Make sure the trigger is pressed and that the hose isn't clogged or damaged, and is properly connected to the wand. Finally, check if the hose for the wand is kinked and straighten it if necessary.

What does it mean if the indicator light above the sprayer switch is illuminated or flashing on my Toro 34215?
    • L
      Lisa OdomSep 23, 2025
If the indicator light flashes for 2 seconds and then pulses 2 times, the electrical system for the sprayer pump is over current; check the electrical connections for damage and corrosion and inspect the sprayer pump for blockage and drainage. If the indicator light flashes fast and constant and then pulses 4 times, the electrical system for the machine is under voltage; run the engine at high idle with the sprayer function turned off to charge the battery until the flashing indicator light resets, and check the condition of the battery and the electrical harness for loose or damaged connections. If the indicator light flashes fast and then pulses 5 times, the electrical system for the machine is over voltage; check the charging system of the engine for electrical output.

What causes the starter not to rotate the engine on my Toro 34215?
    • C
      Caleb RichardSep 23, 2025
The starter may fail to rotate the engine for several reasons. Ensure the parking brake is engaged. Check if the battery has a full charge, and charge it if necessary. Inspect the electrical connections for good contact, cleaning them if corroded and applying dielectric grease. Also, a fuse may be blown, requiring replacement.

What to do if my Toro 34215 Paint Sprayer does not drive?
    • M
      Michael ThomasSep 23, 2025
If the machine does not drive, the bypass valve may not be closed tight; close the bypass valve.

What to do if Toro Paint Sprayer engine overheats?
    • K
      Kristy ManningAug 30, 2025
If the engine overheats, reduce the ground speed of the machine. Add oil to the engine to the proper level. Clean the cooling fins and air passages.

How to fix uneven spreader pattern on Toro 34215 Paint Sprayer?
    • J
      Jill BurkeAug 25, 2025
An uneven spreader or sprayer pattern can result from: * A dirty or damaged impeller; clean, repair, or replace it. * The spreader pattern control not being properly adjusted. * Clogged sprayer nozzles; clean or replace them. * A plugged hopper screen; clean it. * Material clumped over the gate in the hopper. * An incorrect diffuser ramp setting; adjust the position of the control cable.

What causes my Toro 34215's impeller not to rotate?
    • R
      Richard EdwardsAug 26, 2025
If the impeller does not rotate, there may be debris buildup at the impeller, so clean the impeller. The hopper screen could be plugged, so clean the hopper screen. The impeller motor might be loose or damaged, so repair or replace it. Check the electrical connections. Ensure the impeller On/Off switch is in the ON position and the impeller speed control is not set too slow. Also, the impeller-drive pin may be missing, so replace the drive pin.
