What to do if there is no spray from Toro Paint Sprayer nozzles?
    • S
      Sandra Gentry DVMAug 27, 2025
If there's no spray coming from the sprayer nozzles or the output is weak, start by filling the sprayer tank. Then, fully open the sprayer-pump supply valve. Check the strainer, pump, and nozzles for clogs—clean, repair, or replace them as needed. Also, inspect the hoses for clogs, kinks, or damage, and address those issues. Ensure the tank-agitation lever is in the OFF position and the sprayer-pattern lever is in the ON position. Adjust the sprayer pressure and ground speed. Ensure the chemical mixture in the sprayer tank is correct, following the manufacturer’s recommendation. Finally, inspect the sprayer system for leaks, addressing any issues found.

Why my Toro 34215 engine does not start?
    • T
      Travis OsbornAug 27, 2025
If the engine doesn't start, starts hard, or fails to keep running, first ensure the fuel tank is full and the fuel-shutoff valve is open. Check that the throttle and choke levers are in the correct positions: the throttle should be midway between SLOW and FAST, and the choke should be ON for a cold engine or OFF for a warm engine. Clean or replace the fuel strainer, and make sure there's no dirt, water, or stale fuel in the fuel system. Clean the foam-filter element or replace the paper-filter element, and check for good electrical connections, cleaning and reconnecting them as necessary. Clean, adjust, or replace the spark plug, and check the spark-plug wire connection.

How to fix Toro 34215 Paint Sprayer when the starter does not rotate the engine?
    • P
      Paul VasquezAug 27, 2025
If the starter does not rotate the engine, ensure the park brake is set. Charge the battery fully. Check all electrical connections for corrosion, looseness, or faults; clean the connector terminals with electrical-contact cleaner, apply dielectric grease, and reconnect them. Replace any blown fuses.

Why Toro 34215 Paint Sprayer engine loses power?
    • C
      Colin MccoyAug 28, 2025
If the engine loses power, reduce the machine's ground speed. Clean the foam-filter element or replace the paper-filter element. Add oil to the engine to reach the proper level. Clean the cooling fins and air passages. Clean the vent hole in the fuel cap or replace the cap. Clean or replace the fuel strainer.

How to fix Toro 34215 Paint Sprayer spray wand that does not work?
    • K
      Kyle AndersonAug 29, 2025
If the spray wand isn't working, first, fill the sprayer tank. Then, rotate the pressure control to the OPEN position. Check the wand and nozzle for clogs; clean, repair, or replace them as needed. Ensure the trigger is pressed. Inspect the hose for clogs or damage, and clean, repair, or replace it. Connect the hose to the wand if it's disconnected, and straighten any kinks in the hose.

What does it mean when the indicator light above the impeller On/Off switch is illuminated on Toro 34215 Paint Sprayer?
    • N
      Nicholas JacobsAug 30, 2025
If the indicator light above the impeller On/Off switch is illuminated or flashing, and the impeller motor speed is not adjustable, press and hold the impeller On/Off switch for 5 seconds while the motor is running to reset the speed control. Alternatively, shut off and restart the engine. If the light flashes for 2 seconds and then pulses 2 times, check the electrical connections for damage and corrosion, and inspect the impeller for blockage. If the light flashes fast and constant and then pulses 4 times, run the engine at high idle with all spreader functions off to charge the battery until the light resets; check the battery condition and electrical harness for loose or damaged connections; check the engine's charging system for electrical output.

What to do if Toro Paint Sprayer impeller does not rotate?
    • T
      Tristan MooreAug 25, 2025
If the impeller does not rotate, clean the impeller and the hopper screen. Repair or replace the impeller motor. Check the electrical connections, set the impeller On/Off switch to the ON position, and check the position of the knob for the impeller-speed control. Replace the drive pin and the bearings in the motor or the motor assembly.
