ofwheelmotorleakageinthe3differentwheelpositionswillprovidethe

9.Thetotalinternalleakageforthefrontwheelmotorscombinedwillbe
shownontheowmeter.Leakageforthefrontwheelmotorscombined
shouldbelessthan11.3L/minute(3gallons/minute).Proceedtotesting
therearwheelmotoriftestresultsarewithinspecication.Iftheleakage
specicationsarenotmet,testthefrontwheelmotorsindividuallyasfollows:
A.Removethefrontwheelandwheelshieldfromthewheelmotorthatisnot
beingtestedtogetaccesstothehydraulictubesandttingsonthewheel
motor.RemovetheR-clampsthatsecurethehydraulictubestotheframe.
B.Cleananddisconnecthydrauliclinesfromthefrontwheelmotorthatis
notbeingtested.Capthedisconnectedhydrauliclinesandplugtheports
ofthedisconnectedwheelmotortopreventcontamination.
C.Repeattheproceduredescribedinsteps6through8toidentifyindividual
frontwheelmotorleakage.Theowshouldbelessthan5.7L/minute
(1.5gallons/minute)forthetestedwheelmotor.
D.Iftestingisrequiredforotherfrontwheelmotor,completestepsA,B,and
Cfortheremainingfrontwheelmotor.
E.Ifspecicationsarenotmet,repairorreplacethewornwheelmotor.
10.Afteryoucompletethetesting,releasepressurefromthehydraulicsystem;
refertoReleasingPressurefromtheHydraulicSystem(page4–6).
11.Disconnectthetesterfromthehydraulicsystem.
12.Connectallthedisconnectedhydraulichosesandtubesandsecurethe
hydraulictubestotheframe.
13.Installthewheelshieldandwheels;refertoWheels(page6–5).
14.Starttheengine,checkforhydraulic-uidleaks,repairanyleaksasrequired,
andllthehydraulictankwiththecorrectquantityofnewhydraulicuid
beforereturningthemachinetoservice.
