1.Ensurethatthehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperatureby
operatingthemachineforatleast10minutes.
2.ParkthemachineonalevelsurfacewiththePTOswitchoff,lowerthecutting
decks,shutofftheengine,setthemowspeedlimitertotheMOWposition,
andsettheparkingbrake.
3.ReadallWarning,Cautions,andprecautionslistedatthebeginningofthis
section.
4.Fortestingtherearmowcircuit,removethecapfromthetestttingatdeck
controlmanifoldport(G1)andinstallapressuregaugewithhydraulichoseto
thetesttting(Figure62).Iftestingthefrontmowcircuit,removethecap
fromthetestttingatdeckcontrolmanifoldport(G2)andinstallapressure
gaugewithhydraulichosetothetesttting.
CAUTION
Keepawayfromthecuttingunitsduringtesttopreventpersonal
injuryfromthecuttingblades.
5.Sitintheoperatorsseat,starttheengine,andpresstheenginespeedswitch
tofullspeed(3,005to3,055rpm)position.UsetheInfoCentertocheckthat
theenginespeediscorrect.
6.Engagethecuttingdecks.Whenengaged,thecuttingcircuitpressuremay
exceedmanifoldreliefvalvepressuresettingof24,100kPa(3,500psi)for
frontmowcircuitand17,500kPa(2,500psi)forrearmowcircuitmomentarily
openingthereliefvalve.Thecircuitpressureshouldthenstabilizeat
approximately8,274kPa(1,200psi).
7.Safelysecurethetestpressuregaugeandoperatethemachineunderyour
specicmowingconditions.Monitorthetestgaugewhilemowing.The
cuttingunitcircuitpressureshouldbeapproximately:10,340to13,800kPa
(1,500to2,000psi)underlowtonormalloadconditions.
8.Disengagethecuttingunits,presstheenginespeedswitchtolowspeed
(1,175to1,225rpm)position,andshutofftheengine.
