8.Iftheliftcylinderallowsthecuttingdecktolowertooquickly,replaceor
repairtheliftcylinder;refertoLiftCylinder(page4–144)andServicingthe
LiftCylinder(page4–147).
9.Oncetheliftcylinderconditionisdetermined,useajacktoraiseliftarm
slightlywhichremovestheloadfromtheliftcylinder.
10.Supporttheliftarmwithjackstandstopreventitfromlowering.
11.Removethecapfromthecylinderttingandtheplugfromthehydraulichose.
12.Connectthehydraulichosetotheliftcylindertting.
13.Carefullyremovethejackfromundertheliftarm.Starttheengineand
operatetheliftcylindersthroughseveralupanddowncycles.Shutoffthe
engineandcheckforanyleakage.
14.Ifnecessary,repeatthesteps2through13forotherliftcylinders.
15.Checkandllthehydraulictankwiththecorrectquantityofnewhydraulic
uidbeforereturningthemachinetoservice.
