4.Installthepressureseals,atsideoutward,intothegroovesinthewear
plates.Followbycarefullyplacingtheback-upgaskets,atsideoutward,
betweenthepressuresealsandthegroovesinthewearplate.
5.Applyalightcoatingofpetroleumjellytotheexposedsideofthefrontange.
6.Lubricatethedrivegearshaftwithcleanhydraulicuid.
7.Insertthedriveendofthedriveshaftthroughthewearplatewiththepressure
sealsidedownandtheopensideofthepressuresealpointingtotheinlet
sideofthemotor.
8.Carefullyinstalltheshaftintothefrontange.
9.Lubricatetheidlergearshaftwithcleanhydraulicuid.Installtheidlergear
shaftintotheremainingpositioninthefrontwearplate.Applyalightcoating
ofcleanhydraulicuidtothegearfaces.
10.Installtherearwearplatewithapressuresealsideupandtheopensideof
pressuresealpointingtotheinletsideofthemotor.
11.ApplyalightcoatingofpetroleumjellytonewO-ringsandO-ringgroovesin
thebody.InstallnewO-ringstothebody.
12.Installthelocatingdowelsinthebody.Alignthemarkerlineonthebody
andfrontange.
IMPORTANT
Donotdislodgethesealsduringinstallation.
13.Gentlyslidethebodyontotheassemblyandalignthedowelswithrm
handpressure.
14.Checkthatthesurfaceoftherearwearplateisslightlybelowthefaceof
thebody.
Note:Ifthewearplateisnotbelowthebody,checktheassemblyfora
shiftedpressureseal,back-upgasket,orO-ring.Correcttheshiftingbefore
youproceed.
15.Applyalightcoatingofpetroleumjellytotheexposedsideoftherearcover.
16.Usethemarkerlineforproperlocationandplacetherearcoveronthe
assembly,andalignthedowelswithrmhandpressure.
17.Installthe4boltswith4washersandtightenthembyhand.
IMPORTANT
Whenyouclampthemotorinavise,clampthefrontangeonlyto
preventdamage.Also,useaviseequippedwithsoftjaws.
18.Clampthefrontangeofthemotorinaviseequippedwithsoftjaws.
19.Alternatelytorquetheboltsto45N∙m(33ft-lb).
20.Removethemotorfromthevise.
21.Putasmallquantityofcleanhydraulicuidintheinletofthemotorandrotate
thedriveshaftawayfromtheinletfor1revolution.Ifthereisanybinding,
disassemblethemotorandcheckforassemblyproblems.
