1.Ifthe2straighthydraulicttings(Item2inFigure13)wereremovedfrom
theoilcooler,lubricateandinstallnewO-ringsontothettings.Installthe
ttingsintotheportopeningsandtightenthettings;refertoInstallingthe
HydraulicFittings(SAEStraightThreadO-RingFittingintotheComponent
Port)(page4–11).
2.Carefullypositiontheradiatorandoilcoolerassemblytotheradiatorframe.
Positionthefanshroudtotheradiator.
3.Securetheradiatortotheradiatorframewiththe7ange-headscrews
previouslyremoved.Positionthefanshroudtotheradiatorwiththe7
fastenerspreviouslyremoved.Ensurethatatleast6.4mm(0.250inch)
clearanceexistsatallpointsbetweenthefanshroudandthefan.
4.Positionthecoolantreservoirandreservoirbrackettothefanshroud.
Securethereservoirbrackettothefanshroudandradiatorframewiththe2
button-headscrews(item29inFigure12)and2angenuts.
5.Ontheleftsideofthemachine,securethefanshroudtotheradiatorframe
withthe2button-headscrews(item29inFigure12)and2angenuts.
6.Removethecoversandplugsfromtheopeningsintheradiatorandtheoil
coolerandthedisconnectedcoolantandhydraulictubesthatwereinstalled
duringremoval.
7.Connectthehydraulictubestothestraighthydraulicttings(Figure13).
8.Connecttheupperandlowerradiatorhosestotheradiatorandsecurethe
hoseswiththehoseclamps.Torquethehoseclampsto3.4to4.5N∙m
(30to40in-lb).
9.Connectthereservoirhose(item26inFigure12)totheradiatorllopening
andsecurethereservoirhosewiththehoseclamp.
10.Installandsecuretheaircleanerinlethose;refertoAirCleanerSystem
(page3–10).
11.Ensurethattheradiatordraincockisclosed.
12.Toallowairtoescapeduringradiatorlling,removethepipeplug(item31in
Figure12)fromthetopoftheradiator.Fillthereservoirwithcoolant.
Note:Ensurethatthecoolantlevelinthecoolantreservoiriscorrect.
13.Applythreadsealanttothethreadsofthepipeplug.
Note:Ensuretoinstalltheplugonceallairisbledfromtheradiator.
14.Installthepipeplugintotheradiatoropening.
15.Addhydraulicuidtothehydraulicreservoirasnecessarytoraisethe
hydraulic-uidleveltotheoperatingrange;refertotheOperator’sManual.
16.Starttheengineandcheckforcoolantandhydraulicuidleaks.Repairany
leaksasrequiredbeforereturningthemachinetoservice.
17.Continuetoruntheenginetoobtaintheoperatingtemperature.Checkthe
coolantandhydraulicuidlevelsandadjustasnecessary.
18.Lowerthehoodandsecureitwiththelatches.
19.Installandlatchthescreen(item1inFigure12).
