  If your Toro Paint Sprayer engine starts but doesn't keep running, replace the fuel cap if the fuel-tank vent is restricted. If there's dirt or water in the fuel system, drain and flush it, then add fresh fuel. Replace the fuel filter if it's clogged. Correct or replace the fuse if it is blown or loose. Check and tighten wire connections if there are loose wires or poor connections.

  If the engine of your Toro Paint Sprayer overheats, ensure the crankcase-oil level is correct by filling or draining to the Full mark. Also, check the coolant level and replenish if low. Reduce the load on the engine by using a lower ground speed. Clean the air-intake screens with every use. Finally, clean the cooling fins and air passages under the engine-blower housing and/or the rotating-air-intake screen with every use.

  If a spray section of your Toro Paint Sprayer does not spray, manually turn the valve off. Disconnect the electrical connector on the valve and clean all leads, then connect it if the electrical connection on the section valve is dirty or disconnected. Check the fuses and replace them as necessary if there is a blown (open) fuse. Repair or replace the hose if there is a pinched hose. Adjust the section bypass if a section bypass is improperly adjusted.
