Normal operation
The normal application includes the daily turn-on and switch-off procedure
and operation by the operating personnel.
The operation of the conveyor via the control unit of the overall conveyor
system is usually described in the system documentation or in the control
unit documentation.
After a machine downtime of more than 4 weeks, the complete maintenance
procedure described in the maintenance schedule must be carried out. After-
wards, proceed as described in the section "Commissioning".
Shutdown
The shutdown procedure includes the switch-off before service and mainte-
nance- and repair works or before downtimes.
Complete the following steps:
1. Switch off the master switch for the power supply to the machine as
described in the control system documentation.
2. Secure it against accidental switch-on.
3. Depressurise the pneumatic equipment. Reduce integrated pressure
accumulator to 0 bar.
4. Cut off the machine from the compressed-air supply.
The machine has been decommissioned.
