Replacing the tubular side guide
The side guide must be disassembled for certain maintenance and repair
work, but not replaced. When replacing, have the new side guide ready for
use according to the spare parts list.
Requirements:
Machine has been taken out of operation.
Machine has been secured to prevent it from being switched on inadvert-
ently.
Disassemble the
side guide
Complete the following steps:
1. Mark the position of the side guide supports (1) on the support block.
2. Release the grub screw (2) at the support block.
3. Remove the side guide with the support.
4. Place the side guide on an appropriate surface.
Side guide is disassembled.
Assemble the side
guide
Complete the following steps:
1. Position the side guide support (1) at the support block.
2. Tighten the grub screw (2).
Side guide is assembled.
Tubular side guide is replaced.
