Change Device Name
Management > Administraon
For easy access, you can also enter the Management page using the domain name
(hp://device name) based on the device name that you have congured in this secon.
ÍNote: By default, the domain name is the same as your access point model name
(hp://tew-821dap).
1 Log into your access point management page (refer to “Log in to Management Page”
on page 10).
2 Click Management > Administraon.
3 On the Device Name Sengs secon, enter the new device name to display on your
network to idenfy the access point in the Device Name eld.
4 Click Apply to save the changes or Cancel to discard the changes.
Set Date and Time
Management > Time and Date Sengs
The accuracy of the system clock is important for scheduling and accurate logging. You
can synchronize the system me with your computer, or automacally check the me
accuracy with a network me server (NTP server).
1 Log into your access point management page (refer to “Log in to Management Page”
on page 10).
2 Click Management > Time and Date Sengs.
3 View or modify the following sengs in Time Conguraon secon:
• System Time: Current date and me.
ÍNote: If you do not want to use the automac me conguraon (enable NTP server)
then modify me manually in Date and Time Sengs secon.
• Time Zone: Select the me zone of the country or region you are currently in. The
TEW-821DAP will set its me based on your selecon.
4 Check Enable Daylight Saving if your me zone has daylight savings. Enter the start
me and end me of daylight savings.
