Cooling System
To ensure efficient engine cooling, check
the coolant level each day before riding
the motorcycle, and top up the coolant
if the level is low.
NOTICE
The motorcycle is fitted with D2053
coolant, a year round, Organic Additive
Technology (known as OAT) coolant
when it leaves the factory. It is
coloured orange, and contains a 50%
solution of monoethylene glycol based
antifreeze.
D2053 coolant, as supplied by Triumph,
provides freeze protection to -40°C
(-40°F).
Corrosion Inhibitors
WARNING
D2053 OAT coolant contains corrosion
inhibitors and antifreeze suitable for
aluminium engines and radiators.
Always use the coolant in accordance
with the instructions of the
manufacturer.
Coolant contains toxic chemicals that
are harmful to the human body.
Contact with skin or eyes may cause
severe irritation. Wear protective
gloves, clothing and eye protection
when handling coolant.
If coolant is inhaled, remove the
person to fresh air and keep
comfortable for breathing. In case of
doubt or persistent symptoms, seek
medical attention.
If coolant gets on your skin, flush with
water immediately. Remove
contaminated clothing.
If coolant gets in your eyes, flush with
water for at least 15 minutes and SEEK
MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.
If coolant is swallowed, rinse the
mouth with water and SEEK MEDICAL
ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.
KEEP COOLANT OUT OF THE REACH OF
CHILDREN.
Failure to follow the advice above
could result in serious injury or death.
NOTICE
D2053 OAT coolant, as supplied by
Triumph, is premixed and does not
need to be diluted prior to filling or
topping up the cooling system.
