Engine Immobiliser/Alarm Indicator
Light
This motorcycle is fitted with
an engine immobiliser which is activated
when the ignition switch is turned to
the OFF position.
Without Alarm Fitted
When the ignition switch is turned to
the OFF position, the engine
immobiliser/alarm light will flash on and
off for 24 hours to show that the engine
immobiliser is on. When the ignition
switch is turned to the ON position the
engine immobiliser and the indicator
light will be off.
If the indicator light remains on it
indicates that the engine immobiliser
has a malfunction that requires
investigation. The fault must be checked
and rectified by a competent person
with the specialist knowledge and
technical understanding of motorcycles,
such as an authorised Triumph dealer.
With Alarm Fitted
The engine immobiliser/alarm light will
only illuminate when the conditions
described in the genuine Triumph
accessory alarm instructions are met.
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
Warning Light
WARNING
If the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) is
not functioning, the brake system will
continue to function as a non-ABS
equipped brake system. Do not
continue to ride for longer than is
necessary with the ABS warning light
illuminated.
The fault must be checked and
rectified by a competent person with
the specialist knowledge and technical
understanding of motorcycles, such as
an authorised Triumph dealer.
Braking too hard will cause the wheels
to lock, leading to loss of motorcycle
control which could result in serious
injury or death.
NOTICE
Traction control will not function if
there is a malfunction with the ABS.
The warning lights for the ABS,
traction control and the MIL will be
illuminated.
