A. GENERAL
Operator and mechanic safety is so important at TUG that the initial design and build of every product
undergoes a thorough review of all the components to produce the safest equipment available today.
To reinforce this action, this section of the manual is devoted to safety and must be read by every
operator and mechanic that may be involved with this equipment. It is strongly recommended that this
chapter be reproduced and bound to your operator’s book along with your station safety rules.
B. SAFETY FEATURES
The following safety features are standard equipment at no additional cost.
1. Recessed headlights.
2. Combination tail and stop lights.
3. Warning labels.
4. Mechanically operated park brake.
5. Adjustable over center park brake handle.
6. Console beverage holder.
7. Motor speed limiter set at 15 mph.
8. No-shift acceleration.
9. Rear hitch visibility from the seat.
10. Low center of gravity.
11. Ease of maneuverability.
12. Center-of-steering-wheel horn button.
13. Labeled controls.
14. Multiple-function dash display with battery discharge indicator, hourmeter, and fault display.
15. Reflectors.
