MZ Tow Tractor Section 3
(4) Remove four (4) mounting bolts. Use long extension ratchet and matching
wrenches below tractor.
CAUTION: WIPE ALL CONNECTIONS CLEAN PRIOR TO OPENING
SYSTEM.
CAUTION: CAP OR PLUG ALL OPEN PORTS AND LINES.
NOTE: Use back-up wrenches on all mating fittings.
(5) Gently rotate pump to reveal access to hydraulic line connections.
(6) Use tape to label lines (in and out).
(7) Remove hydraulic lines at elbows.
(8) Remove pump and reservoir assembly.
(b) Installation
(1) Place pump and reservoir assembly into floor of right side service bin,
reservoir end toward rear of vehicle.
(2) Attach hydraulic lines at elbows as labeled from removal.
(3) Attach assembly to floor using four (4) mounting bolts. Use long extension
ratchet and matching wrenches below tractor.
(4) Connect electrical wiring.
(5) Top off hydraulic fluid in reservoir.
(6) Close right side access panel.
9. Battery Removal/Replacement
WARNING: DISCONNECT BATTERY AND DISCHARGE
CAPACITORS PRIOR TO BEGINNING THIS OPERATION. (SEE
PARAGRAPH A.1. IN THIS SECTION FOR DISCHARGE
PROCEDURE.)
(a) Hoist battery from lift loops and remove.
