3. Seat Safety Switch
If the operator leaves the seat without putting the direction selector in neutral and setting the
park brake, the tractor will shut down. Then the tractor must be brought to a complete stop
and turned off so that the operator can go through the complete start-up sequence before
resuming operation.
H. SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE
CAUTION: BRING THE TRACTOR TO A
COMPLETE STOP
BEFORE APPLYING THE PARK BRAKE.
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Place the direction control in NEUTRAL and turn the power switch OFF.
3. If needed, plug tractor into battery charger.
I. MAINTENANCE TOWING
If it becomes necessary to tow the MZ tow tractor for maintenance or other reasons, the following
conditions must be satisfied:
1. The unit must be turned off.
2. The drive direction selector must be in NEUTRAL..
3. The park brake must not be engaged.
4. Speed must be kept under 15 mph.
