B. REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
ALWAYS REVIEW SAFETY PRECAUTIONS PRIOR TO
PERFORMING WORK ON THIS EQUIPMENT.
1. Operator/Passenger Seat
(a) Removal:
(1) Locate mounting nuts four (4) on underside of seat deck.
(2) Remove front two (2) mounting nuts from captive studs pressed into seat
slider assembly.
(3) Remove rear two (2) mounting nuts from captive studs pressed into seat
slider assembly.
(4) Detach seat switch wiring.
(5) Remove seat
(b) Installation:
(Reverse removal procedure.)
2. Drive Direction Selector
(a) Removal:
WARNING: DISCONNECT BATTERY AND DISCHARGE
CAPACITORS PRIOR TO BEGINNING THIS OPERATION. (SEE
PARAGRAPH A.1. IN THIS SECTION FOR DISCHARGE
PROCEDURE.)
(1) Remove two (2) mounting fasteners.
(2) Slide shifter down through mounting hole.
(3) Remove wiring.
