(d) Check contactor tips for excess burning or wear. Replace contactor tip assembly as
needed.
(e) Check that the (3) motor cables are torqued to 11.1 ft-lb (15 N-m).
(f) Check reduction gear oil level (both sides).
(g) Check that the (5) controller connections are torqued to 10.3 ft-lb (14 N-m).
(h) Check that the B(+) and B(-) cable connections on control panel are torqued to
10.3 ft-lb (14 N-m).
5. Yearly or 3000-Hour Check
CAUTION: FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE MAINTENANCE
GUIDELINES WRITTEN IN THIS MANUAL WILL VOID BOTH THE
TUG AND PRO-MEC WARRANTIES ON THE DRIVE AXLE.
(a) Drain and refill the drive axle according to the Pro-Mec Service Manual in Chapter 5.
(b) Drain, flush, and refill the hydraulic brake system; bleed the brake system.
(c) Drain, flush, and refill the hydraulic steering system.
