(c) Check park brake. With the main switch in the off position, the park brake should
hold the unit in place on a 10% grade.
WARNING: DRIVE TRAIN HAS NO “PARK” POSITION AND MUST
RELY ON PARK BRAKE TO PREVENT VEHICLE FROM ROLLING.
ALWAYS MAKE SURE PARK BRAKE IS PROPERLY ADJUSTED
BEFORE PUTTING VEHICLE INTO SERVICE.
(d) Adjust park brake tension by rotating cap handle on park brake lever (clockwise to
increase tension).
3. Tires
Check tire pressure and condition.
(a) Drive (Rear) Wheels 45 psi
(b) Steer (Front) Wheels 60 psi
4. Power Steering
Check power steering fluid level. (Refer to paragraph E for replenishment fluid.)
C. PERIODIC MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
1. Daily Check
(a) Check that all controls are in good working order. Report a faulty control and do not
use until repaired.
(b) Check battery charge level.
(c) Check battery electrolyte level.
(d) Check pressure of the pneumatic tires:
(1) Drive (Rear) Wheels ................................................................................45 psi
(2) Steer (Front) Wheels ................................................................................60 psi
