MZ Tow Tractor Section 3
(1) Hold shifter assembly without knob UNDER mounting hole in approximate
mounted position. Rotate shaft toward front of vehicle to reveal wiring
attachment points. Attach wiring according to diagram.
(2) Rotate shifter to upright position. Slide shifter up through mounting hole.
(3) Mount assembly using two (2) mounting fasteners.
3. Main Power ("Ignition") Switch
(a) Removal:
WARNING: DISCONNECT BATTERY AND DISCHARGE
CAPACITORS PRIOR TO BEGINNING THIS OPERATION. (SEE
PARAGRAPH A.1. IN THIS SECTION FOR DISCHARGE
PROCEDURE.)
(1) Remove console bolt, open console door.
(2) Disconnect wiring.
(3) Unthread outside retainer ring.
(4) Remove switch.
(b) Installation:
(1) Remove outside retainer ring from switch to be installed (if applicable).
(2) Slide switch into console door switch mounting hole.
(3) Thread on outside mounting ring.
(4) Attach wiring.
4. Master Cylinder
(a) Removal:
(1) Open console door.
(2) Remove brake lines from cylinder body.
