reverse to forward.
8. Do not move the direction control with the accelerator pedal engaged.
9. Always check the path clear prior to backing.
10. Check local station rules and, if permitted, sound the horn prior to backing.
11. If sounding the horn is not permitted, follow the applicable station rules for alerting other
personnel prior to backing.
12. Always be sure the load is secure prior to moving.
13. Always use safety chains between wagons to protect the wagons from accidental hitch
releases.
14. Always use particular caution when in congested areas and near blind corners and rows of
carts. Be alert for other equipment and personnel.
15. Never operate at speeds that are not consistent with operating conditions. Always limit speed
to ensure adequate time for braking in an emergency.
16. Do not use the tractor to push other equipment. Use the proper towing equipment.
17. Do not allow the tractor to be pushed by other equipment. Use the proper towing equipment.
18. Do not tamper with the motor speed settings.
19. Do not tow objects from any point on the tractor other than the hitch provided. Towing from a
point above the rear axle center line can cause the tractor to roll over backwards.
20. Do not disconnect or otherwise disable the safety seat switch.
21. Do not use wagons without bulkheads and be sure the load is contained within the bulkheads
of the wagons. Without bulkheads, a sudden stop can cause the load to shift onto the tractor.
22. Do not smoke while recharging battery.
23. Do not use the battery in this unit to start other vehicles.
