169MHzZonedNetworkReceiverswereintroducedinSeptember2011andcan
onlybeusedwithAdventxtControllerfirmwareV2.03aonwards.
Fullradiocoveragemustfirstbeachieved
usingstandardZXT325Network
ReceiverswithW062501/2WaveAerials,thenalimitednumberofZXT326Zoned
NetworkReceiverscanbedeployedaroundthesitetogivelocalisedradio
coverage.
IMPORTANT:themaximumnumberofZonedNetworkReceiverspersiteis12,for
exampleyoucouldinstallthefollowingmaximumcombinations;4standard+12
zoned,or6standard+10zoned,or8standard+8zonedetc.
ThebuildingplanbelowshowstwoStandardNetworkReceiversgivingapprox.75metresradiusradiocoverageand
fiveZonedNetworkReceiversgivingapprox.20metresradiusradiocoverage;
WhenapendantisactivatedthezonewiththestrongestRadioSignalStrength (RSSI)
willbeidentifiedinthealarmmessage.IfthependantisnotwithinrangeofanyZoned
ReceiverthenthecallwillstillbepickedupbytheStandardReceiversandreported
withoutanyzoneinformation.
ATTENUATOR & AERIAL
Togivethereducedrange,ZonedNetworkReceiversaresuppliedwitha10dBBNCAttenuatorandaHelicalStubAerial.
SimplyplugtheBNCAttenuatorbetweentheNetworkReceiverandtheAerial.These2partsMUSTBE
fittedtoZoned
NetworkReceivers‐DONOT
fit1/2WaveAerials(W06250).
CONNECTION
ZonedNetworkReceiversrequireapoweranddatafromtheAdventxtsystemnetworkusinga2pairCW1308cable.
INSTALLATION
ZonedNetworkReceiversshouldbesitedinadrysecurearea,theyareNOTsuitableforoutdoorlocations.Choose
locationscentraltothezoneyouintendcovering.TryandspacetheReceiverstominimiseradiooverlapbetween
neighbouringzones.SeethefollowingpagefordetailsoftestingandRSSI attenuation.
ID SETTING
DILswitches1to4areusedtosetauniqueIDoneachZonedNetworkReceiver,DILswitches5to8arenotused.ID’smust
followonsequentiallyaftertheStandardNetworkReceivers.Seetableonpreviouspage.
PROGRAMMING
TheID’softheZonedNetworkReceiversmustbesetinthe“ZoningSetup”programming.
