Replacing Staples in the 650-Sheet Finisher
A staple cartridge has two parts: the orange handle cartridge and the staple refill in a case. Both parts are
customer replaceable.
To replace the staples:
WARNING: Do not perform this procedure while the printer is copying or printing.
1. Open the finisher stapler door at the rear of the finisher as shown.
2. Grip the staple cartridge by the orange handle and pull it firmly toward you to remove it.
