7.5 Appendix E CE Compliance
Important Notice regarding CE standards compliance:
1. Warning: This is a Class A product. In a domestic environment this product may cause radio interference in which
case the user may be required to take adequate measures.
2. Users should not open the side access panel during operation, internal components may be susceptible to ESD
(electrostatic discharge).
3. Users are cautioned not to touch any non-used (open) communication ports during operation, as discussed in this
user manual. The communication ports and associated circuitry may be susceptible to ESD.
4. Users should note that RS232 communications may be susceptible to ESD. Data corruption or serial communications
failure may occur. If malfunction occurs, contact YSI Technical Support.
