7. Gas diffuser cleaning :
• Open the airlock.
• Unlock doors.
• Open the glove door.
• Switch on the vacuum cleaner.
• Clean the gas diffuser with the vacuum (6). Then wind the vacuum pipe.
• Switch off the vacuum cleaner.
• Close the glove door.
• Close the airlock.
8. Cleaning the manufacturing chamber
• With the brush and the vacuum cleaner, clean the top of the aspiration manifold (7). Be careful of residual powder
which can fall on the feeding piston.
• Move the carriage to the top of the sintering piston, and remove the powder located in the roller and the scrapper
(8) to the collecting tank.
• Using the brush and the vacuum cleaner, clean the area between the two pistons (9), so that the roller does not get
dirty when searching the zero sintering plate at next job.
• Clean the whole chamber, in front and behind the pistons (10).
Vacuum carefully powder between the powder gutter and the strip
(blue line in the gure) : make sure not to put powder behind the
strip (11).
• Using a brush and a vacuum cleaner, clean the Hirth device of the sintering piston.
