Airlock lter replacement
The airlock lter must be replaced every 6 months. The airlock lter is located under the airlock.
Part required :
• Filter element : 1001884R00.
Caution: wear PPE (disposable rubber gloves, anti-static coverall, FFP3 respiratory protection, anti-static
safety shoes).
Caution : Make sure the gas and purge are stopped.
1. Open the right side access door of the main cabinet.
When the side door is opened while the printer is still
powered up, the status of the interlock prevents the
printer to operate during the maintenance (see "DMP
System Response if an Interlock Fails" on page 9).
2. Remove the lter guard from the lter cap by unscrewing it.
3. Remove the lter element. Dispose of it in accordance with all local/regional/national, state and federal regulations.
WARNING : FLAMMABLE POWDERS.
PLACE THE USED FILTER ELEMENT IN A CLOSED METALLIC CONTAINER IN A ROOM WITH FIRE DETECTION.
4. Clean the lter guard with the use of a damp cotton cloth.
5. Install the new lter element.
6. Replace the lter guard.
7. Close the right side access door of the main cabinet.
