C. Powder recycling
Operating
The recycling system will be used to sieve the metal powder (sieving system) and transfer it back to the feeding piston (via
feeding hopper and vibrating channel).
The processing chain of the powder is composed of the following:
Sieving system
The sieving device is located bellow the airlock. It is equipped with a 75 µm sieve screen. Cleaning the sieve regulary is
recommended. Consult the Preventive maintenance section for the recommended maintenance interval. Mesh size and
interval between periodic cleaning can be modied depending on materials used (chemical composition, grain size…).
