5. Fume cleaner device
This device consists of a blower (located between the airlock door and the collecting tank) and a suction tube on the left of
the sintering piston. It generates a gas ow for evacuating sintering particles and fumes which can negatively affect the
process.
6. Heating element
The internal chamber temperature can be heated via a resistor with the following characteristics:
• Max. internal chamber temperature: 70 °C
• Control accuracy: ±10 °C
• Heating element power rating: 4100 Watts
7. Oxygen analyser sensor
The ProX
®
DMP300 machine is equipped with an oxygen analyzer that monitors the level of oxygen continuously (value is
expressed in percent till 1% and in ppm bellow).
8. Powder tamping module
The tamping piston is used for leveling and tamping the powder in the feeding piston during machine preparation, and for
closing the feeding piston during recycling process.
9. Lens cleaner and lens trap
A ltering unit is tted on the system to avoid particles and fumes from the sintering process being deposited onto the lens.
A gas ow sweeps permanently the underside of the lens trap; this airow is ltered using a lter cartridge. The particles
are stopped by the cartridge membrane and stored in a collector.
Caution : the lens lter must be replaced regularly. Consult the Maintenance section for the
recommended maintenance interval and details on how to replace the lter.
A lens trap completes the cleaning system. It is open only during sintering.
10. Vacuum cleaner
Inside the manufacturing chamber, the operator can use the internal vacuum cleaner for cleaning the manufacturing area.
The powder collected is processed in the recycling system.
