Note:
If you cannot create appropriate compensation images, maybe the
compensation slide needs to be replaced. To order new Fluorescent
Compensation Slides, contact 3DHISTECH Service Support.
Camera Selection
This field displays the active camera.
Objective Selection
To select the objectives to be used for creating a new compensation image, check the
selection box.
Filter Selection for Live Image
Select the filter you want to use for displaying the Live image.
Live
You can display a live image of the current specimen in the Live image display field by
clicking . The cross-hair on the slide has to be focused to create the best
quality compensation image(s). The edge of the cross-hair has to be visible approximately in
the middle of the image, either horizontally or vertically.
Exposure and Focus
Both the focus on the sample and the exposure time can be set either manually or
automatically.
NOTE: Different filters usually require different exposure settings.
Filter Selection for Compensation
If you have selected a filter for a position in the Microscope Settings window, the filters for
each position are displayed in this field. Tick the check boxes of the desired filters to be
used for compensation image.
