3. Install a paper roll in the analyzer’s printer.
a. Open the printer cover. If the printer contains a roll of paper, remove it.
b. Remove the wrapper from
the paper roll, then unroll
several inches of printer
paper.
c. Put the paper roll into the
printer so that the paper
unrolls from the bottom of
the roll and out towards the
front of the analyzer, as
shown.
d. Make sure several inches of
paper extend out of the
printer slot, then press the
cover closed till it locks into
place.
e. Pull gently on the end of the
paper to make sure it is taut.
4. Press the Power button to turn on the analyzer.

Note: If no display message appears (blank display), remove the plug from
the adapter, re-attach, and press in firmly. See Section 7.2, “Quality
Control Features” for details about the analyzer self test. You may need
to allow additional time for the heaters to warm the analyzer to operat-
ing temperature.
