3-4 Set Up and Analyzer Description
During the warming period, the display reads as shown:
5. After passing the self test and reaching operating temperature,
the analyzer is ready to run the first reagent rotor, and displays
“Analyze”.
6. Make sure the analyzer date and time are correct. See
Section 5.7, “Changing Date and Time” for directions.
7. To connect the VS2 Analyzer to an external computer or printer,
see Section 11, “Connecting to an External Computer” for
directions.
8. The following species are available: CAT, DOG, HORSE, and
OTHER. Each species has a set of reference (or “normal”) ranges associated with it for
each method. When the analyzer is shipped from the factory, the reference ranges for CAT,
DOG, and HORSE animal types are pre-defined; these values can be changed using the
Customizing Reference Range feature described in Section 5.
