Surge protection device replacement (-SX model)
The surge protection device has 3 consumable cartridges. When the indicator on a
cartridge is red, replace all three cartridges to ensure surge protection.
To replace the SPD:
1. Set the inverter DC switch to OFF.
2. Remove the first cover. Refer to First cover on page 50.
3. Replace cartridges with new ones of the same type. Refer to Technical data on
page 123.
4. Attach the first cover.
5. Set the inverter DC switch to ON.
6. Monitor the inverter to make sure that it is working correctly.
