Control unit battery replacement
The control unit battery is necessary for the real-time clock (RTC). The life of the
battery is typically more than 10 years.
To replace the control unit battery:
1. Remove the first cover (refer to First cover on page 50).
2. Open the USB connector lid (refer to User interface on page 88).
3. Push the lever at the bottom of the control unit to release it.
4. Disconnect the cable from the back of the control unit.
5. Turn the battery cover on the back of the control unit counterclockwise.
6. Remove the battery cover.
7. Carefully remove the control unit battery.
8. Carefully install a new CR2032 battery in the control unit.
9. Put the battery cover in position.
10. Turn the battery cover clockwise to lock it.
11. Connect the control unit cable.
12. Put the control unit into the holder and push to lock it in position.
13. Close the USB connector lid.
14. Attach the first cover.
