The device has an event log with a time and date stamp. Important system
events are logged here. The log can store 128 entries. The memory
operates as a non-volatile circular buffer, i.e.:
The entries are retained even when the power is interrupted
The oldest entries are overwritten with the newest entries when
the capacity is reached
