18.1 Connect Nitric Oxide (NO) tubing sets
IMPORTANT:
Only INOmax and INOvent NO systems are approved by ACUTRONIC Medical Systems.
If other manufacturers’ NO systems are used, they must be validated first before use with
the fabian.
If Nitric Oxide Systems like the INOmax or INOvent are used to deliver NO, make sure the setup
of the circuit is done as per below graphic. It is important to place the flow sensor of the NO
delivery system directly at the fresh gas outlet of the fabian +nCPAP evolution.
The measuring line must be placed close to patient in Inspiratory Limb.
