2.3.1.1.4 Initializing Memory Data in Volatile Memory
The memory data in the volatile memory (RAM) is initialized using MENU, MEM and M.CLR. All the
initialized memory data is reset to +0.0 mV in the 30 mV range.
1. Press MENU.
2. Select ..3.. MEM with , or , and enter the Select level with .
3. Select M.CLR with , or , and enter the Input/Run level with .
4. Press ENTER to initialize the data. ("BUSY" is displayed while the data is under
processing.)
5. When data initializing is complete, "DONE" appears and the menu reverts to the
Select level.
6. Press EXIT to exit the menu and return to the HOME screen.
2.3.1.2 Scan Mode
The following three modes are provided to recall (scan) the memory data:
For the first number and last number settings, refer to Section 2.3.1.2.1, "Executing Hold Scan."
For the step time setting, refer to Section 2.2.7, "Continuous Function."
When the memory data is recalled, the output status becomes Standby in the following case:
• The source function switches between voltage and current, or between thermal electromotive force
and current
Scan mode Contents
Hold scan Recalls the data one by one in order.
Also recalls the data at a specified memory number.
This mode is not affected by the first number and last number settings.
Single scan Scans the data from the first number to the last number in order at intervals
specified by the step time.
Repeat scan Repeats scanning the data from the first number to the last number in order at
intervals specified by the step time.
