Accessories
The following accessories are required to operate the laser head, but are
not included with it since different systems require different
configurations.
Cables
Each of these laser heads requires a cable to connect it to the
measurement system electronics and power supply.
Table 4 lists the laser head cables that can be used with any of the laser
heads in this manual. The table lists the connectors on each cable and the
axis boards and systems compatible with the cables. A detailed description
of each cable can be found in Chapter 3, “Installation,” of this manual.
Power Supply
The Agilent 10884B power supply is an external ±15 Volt supply used to
power the laser heads and Agilent 10780C/F, or Agilent E1708A, or
Agilent E1709A receivers. The 10884B plugs into ac line power.
Alternatively, you can design your own power supply. See Table 5 on
page 21 for power supply requirements.
