Recommended Test Equipment
Detailed critical specifications for the required test equipment are
contained in Table 9 on page 32. Any equipment that satisfies the critical
specifications given in the table may be substituted for the recommended
model(s).
Laser Head Adjustments
Equipment needed
• 34401A Digital Multimeter (DMM) with test leads
• Large flat- blade screwdriver
• Small flat- blade screwdriver
• Frequency counter
The laser head cover will need to be removed for all adjustments. Refer to
the cover removal procedure in the “Disassembly Procedures" on page 68.
High voltages are generated within the laser head housing. To
ensure safety and avoid possible equipment damage, always
disconnect the power source from the laser head before removing
the covers.
